Learn basic book repair techniques, and in the process learn about the book’s components and traditional hand bookbinding methods.

Participants will be given a quick overview of the techniques covered in the basic class, but will spend the majority of the time focusing on more advanced topics. In the workshop, they will explore board attachment, text block repair, corner repair, spine lifting and re-backing as well as tissue and coloring.
