Zack comes to Historic Sugartown with more than a dozen years of experience in non-profit cultural and social service organizations. Before coming to Sugartown, he worked for the Moravian Historical Society, Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites, the Moravian Archives, Congressional Cemetery in Washington DC, the Science History Institute, and Mitzvah Circle Foundation.
Zack is originally from Bethlehem, PA and has a Master’s in History from Lehigh University.
VJ is a museum educator and curator who loves to pursue untold stories at the margins of history. At Pearl S. Buck International, she focused on developing programs and exhibits that highlighted both historical and contemporary activism. She also secured museum accreditation through the American Alliance of Museums.
In her previous work at Peter Wentz Farmstead, her research and program development on the history of enslavement resulted in the museum’s placement on the National Park Service’s Underground Railroad Network to Freedom register.
When she isn’t working, she can be found playing and writing professionally for historically inspired tabletop roleplaying games.
