Pop-Up Biergarten at Historic Sugartown

Thursday, August 26th | 5 – 8 pm

Historic Sugartown’s Biergartens are back! Thanks to the community’s wonderful response to our June Biergarten, we’ve added another on August 26th! It will once again feature craft brews by our friends from Malvern’s Locust Lane Craft Brewery and local wines by Chaddsford Winery. Food trucks include Buddy’s Burgers, Breasts & Fries and back by popular demand – German fare by the Flying DeutschmanTreat your kiddos (and yourself) to Malvern’s Scoops ‘N’ Smiles Ice CreamMusic will be provided by Shake Down! (Did you know their band leader lives in the village of Sugartown?!) Explore Sugartown’s historic buildings with your friends and watch paper marbling demonstrations by the bookbinders of The Colonial BinderyWe’re grateful to the National Bank of Malvern for their support of this event!

Advance Tickets Required. Your ticket purchase supports Historic Sugartown, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the 19th-century village of Sugartown so that it remains a vibrant part of the community today. Your ticket purchases does not include food and drink.

Five Things to Know:

  1. Advance Tickets Required. Your ticket purchase supports Historic Sugartown, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the 19th-century village of Sugartown so that it remains a vibrant part of the community today. Ticket purchases do not include food and drink.
    — Tickets: Adults $10 | Attendees under 18 – Free (we just need to know how many!)
    — All ticket holders will be entered into raffles for local gift certificates and goodies!
  2. There will be one entry point at 260 Spring Road. Follow signs to our field parking across from the Biergarten entrance. When you arrive, you’ll be checked in at our welcome table.
  3. BYO chairs and picnic blankets. Picnic table seating will be extremely limited. First come, first served! Please enjoy your food and drink while seated.
  4. Update on Mask Policy: We’ve made some adjustments to follow the latest Chester County Health Dept and CDC Guidelines:
    On the Grounds: Masks are not required for visitors, volunteers or staff if fully vaccinated. Please practice physical distancing and be respectful of others.
    In the Buildings: Masks are encouraged but not required for visitors if fully vaccinated. Our staff and volunteers will wear masks for your safety. (Please note – the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve. We’re monitoring this closely, and additional restrictions may be added at any time if deemed necessary).
  5. Dogs are allowed. Please keep them leashed at all times and clean up after them.

DIRECTIONS: 
Historic Sugartown is located at the corner of Sugartown, Spring and Boot Roads in Malvern. Event parking located in the field at 260 Spring Road, Malvern.


CANCELLATION POLICY

Refunds will only be provided up to 48 hours prior to the event. After that time, tickets cannot be refunded.

If the event is postponed to the raindate your admission will be applied to the new date, September 2nd. If we have to postpone, and you can’t make the new date, please contact Historic Sugartown if you would like a refund at that point.
