Event Series Event Series: Virtual Bookbinding Level I Workshop

The goal of the class is to introduce you to the traditional methods of creating a book all from the comfort and safety of your own home. These methods have been employed from about the first century through the mid-19th-century. You will hand-sew the book sections (signatures); secure the hard covers; add a leather spine, and decorative paper to the covers; and lay down the endpapers in this process. The class will last approximately 5 hours.

Cost per Person: $205/Adult (Age 14 and Up). Materials and shipping to your home are included. Details below*
Workshop Size is limited to 6 people. Length: 5 hours.
Registration closes 14 days before the workshop to ensure time to ship materials to participants.
VIRTUAL FORMAT:
The workshop is done virtually via GOOGLE MEET. All participants must have access to Google Meet and a computer, tablet or smartphone with a camera to take part. Please review the Google Meet F.A.Q. for more information.
