Historic Sugartown offers richly authentic and unique spaces for your special event.  Mingle with friends at a cocktail party on the porch of the Victorian-era General Store. Enjoy an intimate sit-down dinner among carriages and sleighs in Sugartown’s Carriage Museum.  Historic Sugartown’s Carriage Museum, General Store, William Garrett House and grounds are available for business functions, nonprofit fundraisers and social events.

Carriage Museum & Board Room

The Carriage Museum showcases a collection of horse-drawn carriages and sleighs in partnership with the Chester County Historical Society. It makes a great space for smaller receptions and meetings. There is also a smaller meeting room that can accommodate up to 16 people for classes, retreats or Board meetings.

Carriage Museum

  • Includes use of approx. 60 chairs & 6 tables, kitchen and Board Room. WIFI is available.
  • Capacity: 50 people for a sit-down meal; 50 – 75 for auditorium-style seating; 100 for standing reception.
  • Rate: Weekdays (9 am – 5 pm) $100/hour including set-up and take-down time or $750/day
  • (9 am – 5 pm). Events extending after 5pm on weekdays are an additional $150/hour.
  • Weekends: $150/hour including set-up and take-down time.

Board Room

  • Capacity: 16 people
  • A counter and outlets are available so you can offer food and beverages during your meeting. A refrigerator is available for use in the downstairs kitchen.  WIFI is available.
  • Rate: $25/hour or $150/day on weekdays (9 am – 5 pm) or $35/hour or $250/day on weekends. Rentals extending past 5 pm will be charged an additional $35/hour. Package rates can be discussed for recurring rentals over a series of days/weeks.
