Hannah Cheever Bank Barn

Typical of Chester County, this 19th-century Pennsylvania Bank Barn was constructed so that hay wagons could enter the upper level from a bank. The barn features a large wooden storage tank used to collect water for the animals. With the purchase of the Cheever property, Historic Sugartown renovated the old barn. Today, the barn interprets the rich agricultural heritage of Willistown through an agricultural tool exhibit on its upper floor.
